Thanks to the remarkable effort of each and every member of the Eatto kitchen team we are now the proud holders of a whopping 4 Great Taste Awards! These awards are, essentially, the food Emmys. Judged by a panel of food writers, critics, chefs, and connoisseurs the Great Taste is the world's largest and most trusted food and drink accreditation scheme. This year, four of our delicious eatto meals have been awarded, 3 of which gained a fantastic one star, while one was awarded an exceptional two stars, an “above and beyond delicious” dish according to the GT judges.

We get so much joy reading through the comments on our meals from the Great Taste judges. Here’s a little peak into what the judges had to say: 

The flavours are rich and varied from the spices skillfully blended together and backed by mango, apple and ginger. A savoury spice against a fruity sweetness with a warm chilli finish.  This is an imaginative well-constructed dish that all the non-vegetarians on this table would very happily eat.  

Spices like coriander offer brightness, cumin adds its earthy warmth, and a certain sweetness from fragrant aromas of warm cinnamon. The caramelised butternut squash adds depth. While the sauce is gently aromatic with a light level of heat. 

There is a fine golden crumb to this little gratin, an appealing appearance with a lovely fishy smoky aroma. 

Wow, the tomato sauce has such integrity and sings on the palate with freshness and density. The meatballs are well seasoned, open textured with plenty of herbaceous notes and garlic. The sauce is light and sweet with tomatoes. Very meaty, juicy and moist - a flavoursome dish, savoury and moreish with a wonderful homemade appearance.
