What ingredients are used?
At Eatto, we proudly champion Irish produce wherever possible. All our poultry and meat are 100% Irish and Bord Bia approved and we work with Irish artisan suppliers across the country.
Are these meals healthy?
Our meals are handmade from all-natural ingredients with no additives, colouring or preservatives – just good food! All our meals have full nutritional information on the label.
Is the packaging sustainable?
We are proud to be a member of Bord Bia’s Origin Green and we continually strive to become a more sustainable company.
All our packaging is either fully recyclable or compostable so please ensure you dispose of your sleeves in the recycling and your trays and film in the compost bin.
Is the food fresh or frozen?
Your food is made fresh and blast frozen the same day for the best possible product. Your food will arrive frozen and needs to be put into your freezer until ready to eat.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, we cater for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and many more dietary requirements, please see our website for our full range. Each dish is clearly labelled if suitable for a specific dietary requirement.
Can I collect my package from you?
No. We do not have a collection facility.
Can I order for someone else?
Yes, you can. Please ensure you provide their name, address and contact details for delivery at checkout. You can also write a personal note for the person you are sending it to.
What do I do with the food when it arrives?
Put it in your freezer until ready to use.
What happens if the food defrosts and I cannot use it that day?
Please follow guidelines on the labels for individual dishes.
What happens if the food is not hot after following the cooking instructions on the packaging?
All microwaves and ovens vary and the cooking instructions are only a guideline. Please ensure all food is piping hot through to the centre before consuming.
How much food should I order? How long will it last?
You should only order the quantity of food that will fit in your freezer.
Your food will have a minimum 3 months freezer shelf life, but once defrosted please follow guidelines on the labels for individual dishes.

What do I do when I want to eat my meals?
Cook from frozen, following the instructions on the back of the meal.
Do you provide nutrition information for your meals? Where can I find it?
Yes! The nutrition information for all meals are listen on the website and at the back of the meal box itself.
Do you offer vegetarian/vegan options?
Yes, we offer a range of delicious vegetarian options, you can find them here. We also have a selection of vegan meals here.
Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free, or gluten & dairy-free options?

In our drive for sustainability, we can take back the outer packaging and recycle them for you (Dublin City South and Dublin City North). The outer packaging includes delivery box, woolcool lining, and gel packs.
We love green here at Eatto, and not just on our plates, so we plant a tree for every 10 linings and ice packs that are returned to us for recycling.

Please note our minimum order is €50.
Shipping is €6.95 to all parts of the country.
Dublin:
We deliver orders throughout Dublin on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Orders must be placed before midnight for delivery the following day. The delivery time slots are as follows:
Dublin South:
Tuesday: 12 pm – 6 pm
Wednesday: 12 pm – 6 pm
Friday: 11 am – 5 pm
Dublin North:
Tuesday: 12 pm – 6 pm
Wednesday: 6 pm – 10 pm
Friday: 11 am – 5 pm
North County Dublin: Orders are dispatched Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and delivered within 48 hours of dispatch confirmation with our delivery partner DPD. The areas which are classed as North County Dublin are: Tyrrelstown, Ashtown, Lusk, Balbriggan, Skerries, Donabate ,Malahide, Howth, Portmarnock, Swords.
Orders must be placed by midnight for next day dispatch. Please note we do not dispatch from Thursday to Sunday so please ensure final orders are placed by midnight on Tuesday for dispatch on Wednesday.
All Other Counties: Orders are dispatched Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and delivered within 48 hours of dispatch confirmation with our delivery partner DPD. Orders must be placed by midnight for next day dispatch. Please note we do not dispatch from Thursday to Sunday so please ensure final orders are placed by midnight on Tuesday for dispatch on Wednesday.
We do not deliver on bank holidays.
What if I’m not home?
If you know you will not be at home when your order is due for delivery, you can add instructions for our drivers on a safe place to leave your box, at checkout. This is for Dublin only.
Don’t worry if you’re not home, we use specially insulated liners to keep your meals frozen until you can put them in the freezer!
For deliveries in the rest of the country we use DPD couriers and it is unfortunately not possible to add delivery instructions to your box.
Can I reschedule my delivery?
Once your order has been shipped you cannot reschedule your delivery. Our packaging is designed to keep your food order frozen for up to 48 hours, if the order is rescheduled and the delivery timeframe is extended, we cannot be held responsible for your order arriving defrosted. If your order has not been shipped and you would like to reschedule your delivery please contact our customer service team on info@eatto.ie.
A note on DPD delivery
Our trusted partners DPD are responsible for delivering all orders outside of Dublin. You will receive a DPD tracking code once your order is shipped and DPD will provide further information on the timeframe of your delivery via SMS and/or email. Please be aware that if you are not home at the time of delivery, your box will be placed in a safe place. Don't worry- we use specially insulated wool cool liners to keep your meals frozen until you can put them in the freezer.
Both the Eatto and DPD delivery system are fully automated and require that address information be input correctly at checkout. Please ensure the correct eircode is provided and that both address and eircode are matching. Your order is perishable after 48 hours and we cannot be held responsible if your order is redirected and in the delivery system for an extended period due to an incorrect address.
Can I deliver to my workplace?
Yes deliveries can be made to workplaces throughout Ireland but please ensure your workplace accepts deliveries prior to ordering and please also ensure correct address and eircode details are provided.

We only deliver within Ireland and while we offer the sale of gift cards outside of Ireland, we do not deliver outside of Ireland.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. The minimum order amount is €50.
Can more than one voucher, promo code, gift card, and/or credits be applied to the same box?
No, only one offer can be availed of at a time. Discount codes can only be applied to new purchases and are not applicable when redeeming a voucher.
What should I do when my credit card is about to expire?
If you know that your card is going to expire, please update your credit card information on your Eatto account. You may update your payment details here.
What payment methods does Eatto accept?
Why did my payment fail?
There are many reasons why a payment may have failed. To resolve this, we recommend trying the following:
- If using a credit card, please check to ensure that it is not expired, if expired, you may update new credit card information here
- Ensure that there are sufficient funds in your account.
- Call your bank or financial institution to find out what is wrong with your account and the reason for the failure.
- Ensure that the billing address on your Eatto account is updated.
Can I return my order?
As our goods are perishable in nature, we do not operate a returns policy.
However, if your goods are faulty, you have 5 working days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. You must be in possession of your receipt or proof of purchase.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Am I eligible for a refund?
We will confirm the refund once we receive your item(s) and have sufficient evidence that the goods were received faulty.
If a refund is issued, how long will it take to process?
Once your refund is issued we will notify you that we have received your request. We will initiate a refund to your credit card (or your original method of payment). You will receive the credit within five days, depending on your card issuer’s policies. Refunds exclude delivery charges.
If you have returned a product(s) to us, the shipping costs of your return are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you need to reset your password, head to www.eatto.ie . On the top-right hand corner of the page, click ‘Log In’ and select the ‘Lost your password’ link.
Enter the email address associated with your account and click the green ‘Reset password’ button. Once complete, you will receive an email with a link for you to reset your password with instructions.
Can’t find the email?
Don’t forget to check your Junk/Spam folder. To make the process easier for you, don’t forget to add our email address to your address book so it comes straight to your inbox!
We have €50, €75 , €100 & €150 gift card options in both digital and post format. The digital gift card will be sent to the recipient’s email address automatically once the final payment is made. For gift cards sent by post, it will take 2-3 working days, based on the standard postal times with An Post.
No, the gift card does not cover the shipping fee. The shipping cost must be paid during checkout.
You can still use your old gift card code on our website (for gift cards purchased before 01/04/2023). Please ensure to use the entire value of the gift card coupon code as there is no option to use the balance of your gift card i.e. your order value should be equal or greater than the coupon code.
In this case, please send us an email at info@eatto.ie with your old gift card code number. Our customer service team will generate a new gift card code based on your remaining balance.
Yes, as per the Consumer Protection (Gift vouchers) Act 2019, all our gift card coupon code have an expiry date of 5 years from the date it was generated.
